COVID-19 Coronavirus Business Contingency Plan
Given the current COVID-19 situation, TIFS Third Party Logistics have increased precautionary measures and put in place a tested business contingency plan  
 

Coronovirus
The Virus
  • Is airborne and transmitted by fluids.
  • Can remain on touched objects.
  • Has a 2-week incubation period. 
  • Has symptoms similar to flu – runny nose, sneezing, fever, cough, sore throat, headache.
  •  

    Staff or Subcontractors returning from high risk countries 
    All staff and / or Subcontractors who are currently in or recently returned from China, Hong Kong and Macau, South Korea, Japan, Italy or Iran, will have an enforced leave of absence from work and will work from home (where applicable) for a minimum of 14 days.  The Federal Government has now announced a self-isolation period for all inbound international travel.

    Alongside this, Staff and Subcontractors whom:
    Have been in close contact with anyone who is currently on quarantine order in the last 14 days *quarantine order can be imposed by government or self-isolation.
    Have been in close contact with anyone who has been a confirmed case in the last 14 days
    *confirmed case is defined as someone tested positive with the virus.  
    Have been in close contact with anyone who is a suspected case in the last 14 days
    *suspected case is defined as pending test results from hospital.
    Are experiencing fever, cough, runny nose or respiratory discomfort. 
    Have been asked to notify Management (via phone) immediately and an enforced leave of absence from work and work from home (where applicable) for a minimum of 14 days will be put in place.
     

    ContingencyPlan
    In the event that the office will require complete evacuation, the below systems have been put in place to ensure uninterrupted service to our client base.
    TIFS key contacts have been allocated laptops and external logins to allow for offsite system access.
    TIFS Online Portal will continue to allow clients to work autonomously to make bookings online, track drivers and access invoices where required. 
    Office phones will be diverted to mobiles.
    All our client base will be contacted immediately with Key Staff direct mobiles to ensure uninterrupted, open lines of communication.
    Effective 18 March 2020 ‘no visitor access’ will be allowed for the remainder of this week to the DC.  This will be reviewed weekly.
    All TIFS staff has now been consolidated into two 4 hours specific shifts.’ A.M. and P.M,’ with a break in between for an in-depth cleaning process to occur. This process facilitates that each shift will leave and enter the premises without consorting with each other.
